Lets Fill the Boats

In this time of trial, have you found yourself saying “If only so and so wins the election, then.....”? Well, I caution you (and me) on putting your HOPE in a man.  It’s time to turn our eyes to the only one who our HOPE should be in.  Pastor J.D Farag noted that we should remember that, according to the Bible, we are in a sinking ship and we should be getting as many people in the lifeboats as we can now.

We need to be telling everyone we know about Him. I know its hard to talk faith, but talking politics is hard too and it seems to be all we talk about anymore.

Farag also pointed out that way back in the Old Testament Gods people weren’t happy with just having God. They begged for a King. Well they got one and his name was Saul. For those of you who don’t know the history, it didn’t go well for them.  Is that what we are doing? Begging for our man in the White House? Instead we should just turn our eyes to the King who is already seated on the Throne!

Heidi needs a warning label

She talks louder when she talks about Jesus.

I know, I know, there she goes again thumping her Bible! Doesn’t she take it a little too far? To be honest, I should be ashamed that I am not taking it farther.

Matthew 28:19-20 says “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

All nations!! I’m told to take the good news to ALL NATIONS! But seriously, I just want to reach some lukewarm Christians and light a fire!! Trust me, I can never take it too far! I’m trying to fill the boats!

If you haven’t noticed, I love to talk Bible. However, I also know that having little knowledge of the Bible makes people keep questions to themselves, but don’t. Don’t let your questions go unanswered. If you ever have questions, let me help you find the answers. If I don’t have an answer I sure love to research. (Yes, I’m a nerd. My kids have made that known to me.)
