Hopscotch is Heidi’s way of communicating tidbits of Joy into your day & Manna is bread from Heaven

“Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness, just as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” Deuteronomy 8:16

the Mission

Hopscotch:

I want to spread as much joy as possible. Negativity abounds and I wish to defeat some of it. So, as God shows me humor in some of the everyday bits of life I will take some time to share them with all of you! Lets laugh together like good friends do! Jesus said:“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” -John 10:10

Manna:

Also, I want to make sure you are with me in Heaven. So, I want to tell you as much about Jesus as I can. And if you already have your spot reserved, let me tell you about some of the things I have learned, (this will all be based on my beggarly amount of knowledge). I hope to continue to learn about Scripture from those that know more than I, while I teach others that know less.

I would like to believe that the scripture we consume is like manna. Bread from heaven. “Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”-John 6:35

Hopscotch & Manna will give you something to chuckle about and something to ponder each week, and I will pray for you everyday. Please, pray for me.

Heidi

Hopscotch is when I get bored trying to be normal. So I go back to being me :)

Manna is bread from heaven, and when Manna isn’t enough: “Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
— Heidi LaRue Johnson & Jesus (Matthew 4:4)
